Difference Between Equality and Justice.

What is Equality?

Equality  means “the state of being equal.” It’s one of the ideals of a democratic society, and so the fight to attain different kinds of equality, like racial equality, gender equality, or equality of opportunity between rich and poor, is often associated with progress toward that ideal of everyone being truly equal.

What is Justice?

Justice is a concept of ethics and law that means that people behave in a way that is fair, equal, and balanced for everyone.

The main difference between equality and justice is that equality means having an equal position for everyone whereas justice means the quality of being just, righteous or fair in every aspect. Equality vs. Equity. Equality assumes everyone is the same, has the same abilities/talents, and has the same history.

Differences between Equality and Justice are:

EQUALITY JUSTICE
Accepting and giving everyone equal position or treatment by the society. Quality of being just righteous or fair in every aspect.
Can be used in a general aspect. Most related to legal interpretations.
Most related to a social concept. Most related to a legal concept.
Emphasizes equal or similar status or treatment for everyone. Emphasizes just and impartial treatment for everyone according to accepted moral or fair conduct.

CONCLUSION:

We can easily conclude the Differences between Equality and Justice as Equality is when each person is seen as equal in the eyes of the law. and Social justice is when each person can exercise their rights within a society.
