What are luminous objects?
The object which produces light is called luminous objects. they have the following characteristics:
- Produces light,
- Have their own light,
- And are responsible for vision.
What are non-luminous objects?
The objects which are unable to produce light are called Non-luminous objects or illuminated objects They have the following characteristics:
- Unable to produce light,
- Does not possess own light,
- These are visible due to luminous objects.
Examples of Luminous and Non-Luminous Objects
Examples of luminous objects are:
- the sun
- flame in a lamp
- tube light
- electric bulb
Examples of non-luminous objects are:
- the earth
- moon
- a piece of cloth
- coal
